Does weather affect park factors?
I created a stadium in Virginia Beach, VA and noticed the weather looked weird (July highs in the 70s). I switched the weather to Norfolk which raised the summer temps but none of the HR factors changed which should happen in the summer. Does weather affect fly balls (and breaking pitches for that matter) or are wall height and distance all that are considered for HRs.

I think the weather effects are baked in elsewhere in the engine, not into the HR factors. So a park with a factor of .97 in Miami will play differently (slightly) than one with .97 in Denver. Obviously if you want Mile High Stadium style games you have to adjust the park factors, as the weather differences are not a big deal. Also, maybe more obviously, it affects rain and rain delays/rainouts.

The park factors are the park factors..and that’s it. I don’t believe any outside factor affects them whether it be wall height, distance, dimensions or weather.
