Really need some help

I have been dealing with cancer the last 18 months and although I have been playing OOTP since ver 10, I can’t seem to get 23 up and running and upgraded from 22. I have purchased 23 and can’t seem to get it to work, I don’t have computer skills but I was getting along quite well until the chemo and radiation settled in.
Since I have already purchased are all the updates be included if I download the ‘new 23 version’? I sure hope somebody can slowly walk me through getting a good handle on OOTP again.

I thought I used the original ver 23 the day it was released but I also added a few upgrades, not sure.
Still in hospital so I can’t get onto my Pc till early next week, but my looking for some help then.i

Are you using Steam or downloading directly from here?

When you download/install the game, it will be the most recent version.

I dealt with cancer way back in 03-04. And... I'm good. Not certain what cancer you are battling, there are so many types.
I hope you get assistance with OOTP. I started with the 21 version. Needed something to help me pass the time during the pandemic. This game ROCKS. I play as mgr/gm, currently the Phillies.

I'm not going to be much help but I hope everything works out. Cancer is one of the worst things anyone will go through. Good luck and kick its ass.

If you are using STEAM, all you need to do is go to the OOTP 23 Store Page, and download the product after purchasing. It should automatically be the latest version. The good thing about STEAM, is it will automatically update anytime there is a new version released.

Hi John,

OOTP has gotten me through some bad times. Probably nothing akin to what you are facing now.

All of us are in this sphere of existence for a limited amount of time.

What comes next - that's been the eternal question.

Of course, I'm wishing you a complete recovery from the big "C" and many more years of productive life on this planet.

All I can tell you is fear not. I can't believe that this is all there is. Prepare yourself for the next step on this journey.

Not sure if you're willing to try this, but when you have the opportunity, I'm sure one of the community members could join you via Zoom and walk you through every thing. This would allow us to see exactly what you're seeing as well without requiring remote access to your PC.

Of course, only if your comfortable with such a potential solution.

I agree that a conversation with someone will help you with OOTPBB 23.

Perhaps posting what you run it on may help. I started with 21 and never had an issue with the install on a PC.

I have two sign in numbers for registration.one I used to download and upgrade ver 22. How can I remove and unlicensed so I would have license that is extra?
