Clarification about PT sell order tax

Does the game prevent you from netting less PP on sell orders compared to quick selling it?

For example, if you sell a silver card for 105 PP, the tax on sell orders should mean that you make about 90 PP from the sale, but quick selling it would get you 100 PP. I've been told (which I suspect is wrong) that the game will make sure you at least make 100 PP on the sale.

I've tried searching for an answer to this and the only thing I have been able to find is a thread from a couple years ago, so I wanted to clarify how it works now. Especially since I've heard conflicting claims about it from people in Twitch chats recently.

Unless things have changed this year, we have never netted less than the quick sale value previously. I honestly haven’t sold anything in ‘23 that would’ve theoretically pushed the tax past the threshold, but it would be surprising if it suddenly changed. If anyone has experienced otherwise from ‘23, feel free to correct me.

Yeah, I can't really remember selling anything that would create this issue, I just always assumed it worked that way.

I did something like that in the beta

Sold a duplicate live diamond to a 4200 bid and got 3780 instead of 4000 but it was quickly fixed I think.

I've been seeing some 26 bids on bronze and I just ignore those and quick sell ... well, I probably wouldn't sell to 26 anyway (make it at least 29, hoho), even if it did give me 25, but ...

that's interesting, didn't know that .. I suppose I may test it on one of those 26 bronze bids, but probably only once. Laugh

Any sale less than the QS price should net the QS price. As HomerD noted, if it doesn't, it's a bug that should be reported.
