What happened to the time on card sales?

What happened to the time on card sales? I did not play PT in V22, but did on V21. They had time on when the cards would be sold not on this version.
What is the time limit on Cards that are on sale?

The time limit is whenever you go into Sell Orders and cancel it.

I’d love to see them add a time option where you can put a card up for a price and set a time at which you can either set the price to drop to a lower sell offer or instruct it to automatically sell to the highest buy offer at that time.

I absolutely hate the new system. It's much more difficult to find any sort of actual deal. It comes off as a way to encourage people to throw down the credit card to buy a team. No thanks.

Of course it does. That's the whole point of perfect team. I just wish they hadn't made things that much more difficult on FTP by upping the Live Series to 20 cards and then replacing the gold pack reward with a silver topper which will be useless in short order if not useless already.

I know, I know. Tweak that tournament roster.

Why is it hard to find a deal? The deals are still there. They are easily seen with a list of previous buy price offerings and sale price offerings to help you decide what is a deal. It is much more organized and easy to use to advantage.

I agree. In fact, I feel that the new system puts more downward pressure on card prices as sellers now have to react to buy orders. Previously the sellers defined what was visible in the Auction House and the buyers could only react to what the sellers were demanding.

In my opinion deals are a lot easier to be had than in the past. In the past you were limited by artificial time constrains. With the lack of a timer it gives more incentive for those of us that aren't going to spend an hour listing iron cards in the hopes of profiting 6 PP more than we would with quick sell and that's IF they sell. Now I am incentivized to clear out my binder once a week or two weeks, knowing at some point someone will probably buy my 13 PP iron cord.

Same other way around. I wasn't about to pay 2500-3k for Mauer Bronze, but I put up a buy order and waited a couple days and had it for a fraction of the cost. The whales are more than happy to give me a deal when they get around to clearing out their binders for new content releases.

absolutely. there's clearly an advantage to the buyer over the seller in this new system, which appears intentional - it makes it much harder for F2P players to generate a consistent engine of points and packs if they can't make decent "money" off of auctioning cards.

But they also have to spend less PP on the cards they need, and it's very easy to budget out what you're willing to pay for a card and then be patient about getting it.

certainly, but the absence of even the possibility of a bidding war definitely harms the F2P players content to sell cards in missions they don't think they'll ever reasonably be able to complete.

Another, for me at least is forgetting to cancel. Even after a day the prices you're asking may be way to high and never going to sell so you may need to adjust or sell at QS price after 12, 24 or previously 48 hours.
Incidentally I also like to have all the ask prices on the screen so that I can actually set my price as the 2nd lowest so it becomes the lowest when one sells without actually depressing the overall price immediately when setting the sale price.
Benefit though is the way you can set and forget your buying so you don't have to keep updating your search constantly when looking for a specific card. It is also a way to get deals if you put in a number and hope someone just wants to get rid of it quickly.
That said overall it's just kind of a pain. I thought I'd get used to it and still will but I would think it's also too confusing for new players or ones that don't really want to put too much thought into it.

Oh and a multiple order cancel would help so you don't have to click cancel on 10 orders indidvidually.
