Can Someone Explain Regions to Me?

I am doing a United States Baseball League and eventually each state will be apart of their own league. For now though til i populate each state with more teams i am doing regions for some leagues. I get which states are part of New England and the New England League will be fuine but what states are in each other region? Some of these states may have their own league to start with.

Is their a list of which states OOTP uses for each region or is Wikipedia my best place to look?

You can start here: https://forums.ootpdevelopments.com/...d.php?t=220216

You'll probably have a tough time doing what you want as the regions make some odd choices, especially for Texas.

I'm still on OOTP 22, but in Game > Explore World > Regions Page, you can easily see which is attached to which and even modify it yourself during your simulation (by adding/removing cities or states). I love this feature for ahistorical league growth.

I never knew this exited. Odd because i add nations often to my Endor League.

So in my USBL, the states/regions I am doing for year one are:
Illinois Baseball League
Texas Baseball League
Michigan Baseball League
California League
Florida Baseball League
New England Baseball League
Great Plains League
New York League

If i wanted to do a region of say PA, AR, NE, AR, OH, TN etc i could edit the region?
I use mostly low sets for my teams and I have not added say more then 5-6 teams to some states yet.

I might do Gulf Coast instead of NY so i can get Kev24Fan in the game as Rickey Henderson and get my current favorite design Mobile Red Tails in year 1.
that is so cool. Now i can get the states in that I dont have many sets for together. thank you.

Yes, totally! It's really easy to create a new region, and modify it afterwards.
I have a lot of fun setting this kind of thing in my universe.

You aren't alone, people always said "you can edit the regions" but I never figured out where/how. So thanks to you for asking and others for chiming in!

All info you need is in world xml sheet.

You can create your own region in xml sheet. It is easy and straightforward.
