When does PT login reset?

I got my login bonus at 4:02 pm PDT on Sunday +500 PP. I signed in 6:42 pm PDT today and my login reward had reset to the beginning +100 PP day 1. Is the timer a 24 hr countdown or does it reset at a set login time?

8:00 PM ET is the reset.

And it seems you actually have to open the team, not just log in, for it to count as playing. I got reset today on one of my teams. I had logged into it, but never opened it up. The other teams I had logged in on were fine.
