Free Agent Contracts --- Length?
I've got a fictional league and 95+% of the free agent contracts that the AI teams/players sign are for only 1 year. Is there any way to increase their willingness to sign longer contracts or is that just the way things are? I'd be happier if even 15-20% of the contracts were for 2+ years.

I think it may depend on how long your sim has been going. Early on you don't see as many young free agents. I am not singing a 39 to 3 to 5 years if that is what he wants but I will sign a 29 year old if he is good enough. I find at start in fictional the FA's tend to be much older. It is harder to find the 29 to 31 FA. You have a lot of 35 y/o free agents though. As you go through seasons the game tends to balance out.

It's a 20+ year old sim so that doesn't seem to be the problem. I'm currently thinking the problem is in the finances or how the AI is valuing players.
