Demotion time doesn't increment for inactived player
Maybe this is intentional, but a player that has been demoted from the active roster seems to have their 14 day counter frozen when deactivated from the reserve roster.
Marcell Ozuna was on the active roster last night, AI set team kicked him to reserve and a little later I deactivated everyone on the reserve roster. When I reactivated Ozuna just now, after a day's worth of games having passed, his name is followed by (13) and I get the related error saying 13 days have to pass before activation. Win 10, last night build 41 now 43.

Just to add a data point here, I deactivated a player a few sims ago today, and his cool-down period is incrementing downward as expected. Maybe this only affects players deactivated during a certain period of time?

I deactivated a few more players tonight in Build 43, and I'm still seeing this lack of cool-down decrement, while Ozuna has been sitting on Reserve and is down to 1 cool-down day.

This might be the difference: when one simulated game elapsed while I was in Play Perfect Team, the cool-down decremented. When I was poking around a PD team and sitting in the Start menu without entering PT, it did not decrement.

I'm not sure why I didn't catch this before...the behavior you saw was expected. The 14-day reserve cooldown does not count any games where the card is Inactive. In order to get the 14-day cooldown to expire, you need to leave the card in Reserve status for the entire 14 days.
This behavior is programmed to prevent getting around the 14-day period by de-activating the card and re-activating it (or de-activating the reserved card and then activating a duplicate of the same card).
