Shame on the MLB for not retaining baseball footage. Billions of dollars and they couldn't save history of the game prior to ~ 1983 (such little grainy footage is all)

Those sure were the days. If BeeBee doesn't pinch run, it might have been 1st and 2nd instead of 2nd and 3rd.

Flashback... I remember sitting on my bike, outside a grocery store, opening a pack of cards. I remember being happy because it had a Dick Allen in it.

We used to write the players and we didn't even need a valid address. Just a 'Frank Robinson C/O Baltimore Orioles Baltimore, MD' would get the job done. Almost always, you'd receive an autographed post card. I always wondered if the autographs were real.

I have no clue want happened to any of them, not that it matters.
