MLB default IL length
Not really a "bug" but the default IL length for MLB in a standard game appears to be 15 when it should be 10 I believe.

I did come across this quote that suggests there may be both 10 and 15 day lists in use after the end of April: "There will be no limit in April for how many pitchers teams can carry. Typically, teams are limited to 13. Additionally, pitchers and two-way players will be eligible for placement on the 10-day injured list through May 1. Starting May 2, those players will only be eligible for the 15-day IL. Position players will still be eligible for the 10-day IL." If correct this would mean 10-day throughout the season for position players, but for pitchers (and 2-way players) it's 10-day to start and 15-day from May 1st until end. The MLBPA doesn't have the pdf of the latest CBA online yet, so I couldn't verify from source. |

Yeah, IRL MLB is going with a split setup where it will change when the roster expansion ends. That was a step too much complication, so we simply defaulted it to what it will (likely?) end up being permanently set to.

The return to a 10-day IL for pitchers is a temporary arrangement which will end in a week. Once we hit May 1, it returns to the 2021 rule: 10 for batters, 15 for pitchers.
