Will OOTP 23 have achievements or not?

I was looking at OOTP 23 on Steam and it does not list it as having achievements as the other OOTP games have. Will OOTP 23 have Steam Achievements or any achievements with or without Steam?????

Here is a photo of 22 on Steam which shows it has Achievements.
Here is a photo of 23 not listing any Achievements.

My favorite part of the game is going for achievements.

Please can a dev answer this question. Lots of confusion from the game players

It will most likely have achievements. Many games don’t show things like achievements before they are launched on steam and I believe it was like this for ootp22. They will be the same ones though… it has been for over 5 years. Which sucks because there could be such great ones such as win the 1994 World Series with the Montreal expos or win a pitcher of the year award with babe Ruth as the Yankees. Such a missed opportunity….

OK Guess I have to wait and see if they are listed on launch day. Last year I did not play the game so I don't know about any added achievements. They did almost double the amount from 2019-2021 though. At least they doubled in the Challenge mode on OOTPs official site. I never owned the Steam version so not sure about them not changing over 5 years. Steam versions always had more achievements then the sites Challenge mode version.

I AGREE with you 100%. Such a missed opportunity and I do not believe things like that are very difficult to add to the game. Every year I am disappointed that the game does not offer true head to head where you can manage the game and I hope they do not take out the achievements. True head to head is probably very difficult to implement but achievements........

Last years version had 169 Steam Achievements.

The achievements will be more or less the same as previously. They likely will not show up on Steam until launch day when the game gets released there.

There were lots of new ones added in OOTP 20, and I believe last we added another group as well (milestones and streaks I believe were the focus there if I can remember).

There are a handful of achievements that can only be achieved in challenge mode. But the bulk of them on Steam or in-game can be earned without. In order to register them on the challenge server you need to be in challenge mode.

I have never played the Steam version before and this will be the first year that I buy that version.

It doesn’t matter what mode you play in to get steam achievements but you can only earn perfect team packs in challenge mode
