importing saves and new uniforms

I am most excited for the new uniform feature for OOTP 23, as I love making them, and having more than one home, one vistor will be outstanding.

Newbie questions: can I import my OOTP 22 game safely to 23 when it comes out, will my team be okay and have the things I already customized? And can I add in new alternate uniforms when using this "old" save? I'm hoping so, having to start over would be awful.

Playing Mets starting 1962, in 1967 now... got to the Series in 1965, but the d*mned Yankees trashed me.

Yes, you can import your save.

Yes, your team will be customized as long as you move those files too - all the customization files you added. (you should check after import to ensure all is correct)

Yes, you will be able to use the new uniform features.

Most importantly, make backups pre and post conversion.

Easy to go back if something goes wrong.

Yes, it is easy if you have a windows system.
Mac is more complicated.

A lifelong Windows user, this will be my first year upgrading OOTP on Mac. What is more complicated?
