View With Added Player

I definitely like this feature...which is the ability to ask your manager how a player would fit into his plans in terms of pitching or lineup roles. My question is: It seems (at least to me) you can only ask about players already within your organization...is there a way to ask about players you may be potentially thinking of brining in from the outside? (trade, FA signing etc..)

I've missed this apparently, where would I find this in-game. And it would be good to be able to get the same info about free agents or potential free agents (so just about anyone in the league/minors).

Edit: Ah, found it. Would love to be able to use this with players outside my organization. Would help with identifying FA or trade targets.

For those looking for this: .if you look at your manager and his Sample Lineups you can see how the manager would use a player not currently on your active roster.

At one time I thought you could look at anyone of your "recently viewed" list same as you can on the player comparison screen. Was looking at guys to potentially bring in and wanted to see my manager's thoughts on how he'd be used. Went to do that and nope, not an option. I think I was just misremembering or wishing

In any case I now wonder why this wouldn't be doable using the "recently viewed" list?

If it's not in the suggestion forum it should be.

I think you may be right about this Sweet...I think I can remember the same thing!! Unless it was wishful thinking on my part also!!

Front office --> Personel --> select your manager (or in the case for the manage my bench coach because I am the manager) --> sample lineup
