Tournaments : Do openers not work?

I set three of my bullpen guys to be openers, but I've done two tournaments and none of them have even so much as pitched an inning yet. Did I do something wrong?

Did you set one of the starters to follower? That should help.

Oh do I need to set the rotation to followers? I did not know that, I'll give it a try then and see if that fixes it. Thanks!
