Goals per Game Increasing

I'm now in December 2025 of a save that I began on FHM7 and have uploaded to FHM8. I'm seeing the goals per game increasing at a significant rate even though I haven't touched the goals per game setting, it's been on 6.04 for as long as I know. For what it's worth, my import to FHM8 was the 2022/2023 season when the goals jumped by almost .2 per game. Any thoughts on how I can bring goals back down to ~6 per game? Also, PIM, PPG, and SHG have remained mostly stable so it looks like all the increased damage is being done at 5v5.

Dont worry. In the later seasons it will be ok. I saw it also in the FHM 7, as in FHM 8, that there is some formula, this game is using.

At the beginning, the in-game players did crazy stuff. Like Matthews scoring 70+ goals, McDavid, MacKinnon and the new generation like Bedard, Wright and others also increasing their scoring abilities very fast.
120 - 130 point seasons are not rare.
Then it is somehow cooling down. With the new generated players, it is to see a drop in scoring.
Lot of top goalies are generated. In every year scouting report, you can see at least 2 Goalies in top ten. And also in draft, many goalies drafted in first roung.
