Lineup and bullpen resets

First time buyer of this game, and I have the game set to GM mode only.

I set my lineups, and the lineup is basically reset every game to whatever the game wants. The longest I have had the lineups not reset is maybe 2 or 3 in game season sim weeks. Then it just randomly resets.

The Bullpen settings are even worse. They reset every game to stuff that doesn't make sense like a long reliever/starting pitcher put as a set up man (2 of them). I say its even worse because I cannot get it to save, and theres no "custom bullpen" setting. It just resets.

I have tried to file> save them 100 times over and it does nothing.
I've started another game to mark GM and Manager and same result.

Additonally, the game will refuse to use certain pitchers for some reason. I've simmed 50 games, and a middle reliever has 0 IP. I've marked him as "use more often" and other relievers as "normal" ...nope, the game never uses him. His health status is OK, Rest is 100%...

If you are the GM only the manager controls the lineups and pitching. You control the front office, he controls the games being played. You may be able to make changes but if your manager is "controlling" those are only suggestions. He will do things his way.

In the settings there is a legacy mode (I think that's what it's called) that lets you have full control even if you are not the manager.
