Is it possible for a player, aged 24, with a peak age of 24, to have 5+ attributes drop?
Not all at once. But over successive months and dev reports, for a player not even peak age to decrease in that many areas?

Your scouting may have a better sense of how good the player actually is, compared to an initial look. You'd have to check the player's real attributes under the Edit screen to see if there were any actual changes.
