AI Managing Foreign Player Limits (Spain)

The AI seems to routinely have issues managing the foreign player limits in Spain (3 hitter, 3 pitchers) and consequently, holding the simulation up.

Does anyone know what's going on, or why this is happening? Most importantly, Is there a fix for this?, or is it just the nature of the AI in the international leagues?

BTW...this was "out of the box settings...with the exception being I added a limit to the reserve rosters.

I haven't really run into this being an issue when testing. I suspect the reserve roster limit is likely not helping things.

well it may not be, but the issue is, without reserve roster limits, won't the AI hoard players to no end?

It shouldn't, which is not to say it can't happen sometimes.

That being said, I just checked and there is a reserve roster limit of 20 players by default in Spain.

If you do want to set a limit, at least make sure it's fairly high, like that, and not like 5 players.

I just simmed through a season with the default limit of 20 on the reserve rosters and had no stoppages and probably less than half the teams even hit the 42 man limit between their active and reserve rosters. Most were under that, some significantly so.
