New Mac OS - Monterey
Two quick questions...
Has the game been tested on it and is it safe for Mac users to upgrade without issue with regard to OOTP saves? Thanks G

Truly lucky
You are truly a lucky man to have hard drive space for the upgrade. I have tried numerous times now to purge files, move files to my external hard drive and the cloud, shrink files, only to have this huge band of "system files" that cannot be reduced (even though they are presumably duplicated in the new OS and won't be needed after install). Apple support is of limited value in this endeavor. Even when I have painstakingly created more than the necessary drive space, Monterrey won't load, whining about needing more space for its programs, in the midst of the install. I suppose this is yet another example of software driving hardware, until I buy yet a third Mac Mini with at least a 1 TB hard drive. (They are awesome machines and a great value.). But I wonder if it is worth it, and my #1 concern would be whether OOTP and Monterey can play well together. So, I'll hope that you get some responses.

I will not be upgrading until I have a clear response on this OOTP compatibility, and even then reluctantly. That's if I do indeed have space. I'm on a MacBook Pro with roughly half of the 500Gb HD available.

I'm running 12.1 beta, the latest Monterey on my MBP. It was initially a difficult DL, but once I corrected a drive-related issue on an external, everything proceeded with usual Apple ease. It's a beast, for sure, space wise. I've had no trouble playing the game for the last 2 weeks. While it was still in full blown beta I had an issue when I'd launch Numbers and then right away launch OOTP. That's gone away. I'm quite pleased with the performace. I'm on an i9 MBP, and can only imagine how it'll scream for the folks lucky enough to pick up the lastest M1 offering.

No problems with OS Monterey (12.0.1) on a 2019 iMac.
