Live mission finished, 500k points in the bank, now what?

Packs, missions, individual cards - what say you, men of culture?

I personally have enjoyed working through the series of Franchise Heroes missions throughout the season but I am certifiably insane so take that for what it is. I could also see it feeling a bit overwhelming if you are just now diving into the missions with all of the various components. If you do give them a go, I would target particular teams. Be aware that the Historical All-Star Missions are grouped by divisions.

Thanks for this. Will look into it

same.

waiting to do it now, instead of jumping on it early like us, will be beneficial. so many of those cards can be bought to finish both BAL missions & historical all star missions. will be a lot cheaper to knock off a few now than it was early.

that would be my .2 cents added to the above, look for the cards that will complete multiple missions for you.

if I was in that position honestly I would consider just continuing to build up my bank, and wait for FH3. 500k is not nearly enough to complete the missions out there right now, but, if you invest wisely over the next couple months, it could turn into enough to buy some of the end-game cards that will come out.

Missions, but that's just me. Chazzycat is probably offering sensible advice, but TBH it doesn't sound a lot of fun. On the other hand.. would I actually be able to resist opening 500 SP in one go? Despite almost certainly needing therapy afterwards?

Seriously, don't buy packs. The cost/reward ratio is horrible.

I'm with IanIachimoe and hertston. From a pure investment strategy you might be better off hanging on to the points like chazzycat says but I have too much fun fiddling around with the baseball team side of things to treat PT as an investment towards a Perfect League run next summer.

Lots of good options above. Just stay away from packs unless you want to see your PP stack dwindle by 20% every time you rip a bunch.

I like what Chazzy said, but in my F2P account I still need to improve my team just to stay in diamond this week. I've got about 100k saved up and plan to spend it after FH2 comes out, hopefully on "2nd best" types of cards that fall under 100k after the new content is released.

Once I'm not worried about regressing to gold, I will be doing what Chazzy has suggested (and what I'm doing in my main account) -- sitting on the points and waiting to get cards that are sure to hold their value for a while. I've found that a stagnant PT team becomes a lot less interesting at this point, so I turn my attention to PD and other tournaments for something new and interesting.

I’ve been deep into the prep for the FH2 release. As a F2P guy and also someone who likes to complete the missions (as opposed to directly buying the needed reward cards) I have been chipping away at the missions and have all four pieces ready to go for seventeen teams. I did an inventory and would need about 1.1MM PP to wrap up the missions for the remaining thirteen teams. Over 20% of that would be to complete the Rose card FH1 mission alone. 100K would let me wrap up four more teams. I’m hoping for some good pack rewards with the completed FH2 missions. Completing the FH1 missions came with two Diamond Packs so here’s hoping for some fun pack ripping.

I was just thinking about this some more and returned to update my last response, but it's this exactly. It's nice when new content is released and you already have a lot of cards to complete them and you can get 3-5 top-tier position upgrades for like 100k total. If you had no cards and wanted to flip 4 top-tier guys to the hottest new cards, it would probably cost you 500k-1M PP (cost of new cards net sales on old ones). In my F2P account, I might have to take a closer look at mission values and see if I don't start creating a card library after all.
