Iron/Bronze Tournaments
Are the iron and bronze tournaments mostly luck or is there a strategy that I’m missing? I see that the teams are loaded up with 59s and 69s, which mine is too. Is there anything else?

As the teams start to look more and more alike, one big key is the team and individual strategy sliders, to tweak out the smallest advantage.
As the season progresses, and more and more casual players drop out, you'll find the lower level tournaments very competitive. |

Variance is huge at the lower levels. I raked 144 packs in bronze from overnight Wednesday/Thursday into Friday's stream. Since then, I have 8.

Yup. Variance at the lower levels is all that matters (once you got a decent enough team, of course.) As for OP? Don't worry about the overall rating on the card. Worry about the underlying ratings. Take Wayne Twitchell, for example. A bronze reliever that could still be used in gold tournaments most likely. He's definitely on my Silver team.
