has anyone got a Progressive Field without the Indians logo? I'm switching over to the Guardians now

Might want to wait until the roller derby squad bankrupts the Tribe with their infringement lawsuit.

How about we just rename them the Cuyahoga Fire? It's not subject to politics, bears witness to the city's past, and makes those who actually pay attention in their history classes chuckle.

I was definitely hoping for the "Cleveland Spiders", which has history (both good and bad), is distinctive, and could have amazing merch.

I was glad it wasn't the Spiders. The worst single-season record in baseball history, a franchise that doesn't have any connection to the current one, and the way the Spiders final season and horrible record came about is a testament to the worst features of syndicate ownership and greed. Plus the Cardinals profited from the whole deal.

And I hate spiders
