Historical game next season amateur draft problem

Hi,
I’m getting this message

Could not find historical database files! Please check your database path in the league options! Amateur draft will be imported on draft day if settings are corrected.

I have bought all the seasons package so I would imagine the next season would follow. The game is set for career play not a single season replay. Is anyone experiencing the same problem ? Thanks

I was coming here to report this issue as well. I'm also getting the same error and can't do the draft or continue my league.

I have tried starting in 3 different seasons and i get the same error each time

Galaxy S6 lit with Android version 11.

Had it happen to me from a start in 1921 season. Was in 1976 when I got that issue

I just started a season on 1990 and i disabled automatic import of historical rookies just to test.

No draft class was created at all.

Is there any way to enable an option that we can manually trigger creation of a draft class?

Could this be a permission issue? I browsed manually to the Stats folder, and I had to grant permission to my file browser before I could see it.

In play 99.9% historical replays, so I can't get past one season until this is fixed. I would be happy for now even if I could get a fictional draft class created.

I've found a bit of a workaround here, to enable fictional draft classes.

Note: this should be done during the preseason

MLB -> League Rules & Settings -> View -> change to Advanced -> Rules -> under Amateur draft settings uncheck "disable creating automatic free agents and fictional draft classes

It sounds much more complicated than it actually is

So, it seems like the historical rookies are getting imported correctly now when I disable the option to import historical rookies

Maybe there's a switch somewhere that just needs to be reversed?

I started a new league, and the historical draft class works without me changing any settings. Is this working for everyone now?

Will historical players from future seasons only be imported if those seasons have been purchased?

If so, is it correct to assume I can only have a draft by enabling fictional players?

Yes to both questions.

Now if you have the base 3 seasons and start in 1921 the 1977 and 1996 players will be in those drafts years.
