I Love This Game, But.........Todays update Not Good!
Hello: I've been a fan and a player for many years and I love OOTP Baseball. I've simulated over 40,000 games using MLB Manager 2017 which includes every season offered. Now I've switched to OOTP GO. I absolutely love GO. Today's update just corrupted my replay of the 2019 season. I had completed the season and I was in the middle of the playoffs with no problem until I was interrupted by a 280+MB update and then everything was fouled up. Why the change? My playoff's were lost and I was sent into an extended season of 168+ games. When I completed my first game in the now extended season the box score results and the MLB Scores pages made no sense. Teams that were shutout had as many as four homeruns, some individual players were shown twice in the home runs listed under the scores. Cincinnati scored one run, but two home runs are shown with the same player listed twice, Washington scored zero runs, but shows one player with a home run, Milwaukee hit ten home runs, but J. Pederson is listed twice for a total of two home runs, Boston hit eight home runs, but X. Bogaerts is listed twice as hitting a home run, Texas is shown as hitting three home runs, but the team only scored once, Toronto is listed as hitting four home runs, but C. Biggio is listed twice as hitting a home run and the team only scored three runs, Seattle is listed as hitting three home runs, but K. Seager is listed twice for hitting a home run and the team only scored one run, Kansas City is listed with two players each hitting a home run, but the team only scored once. That is all from only one day. Obviously there are problems with the update. I still think the game is fantastic. I love the animated graphics. OOTP you are still loved and appreciated! I just hope the next update is the last one needed. Please take all the time you need to sort out the bugs. I'll be patiently waiting.

Did you get prompted interrupt you mid-game? The prompt occurs when we make some changes to game data and release an update. If it prompts you mid-game then it's likely the device was trying to update the app while you were using the app. These data updates don't mess with your saves at all, so the problem could be because the app got force-closed mid-save

Thanks for your interest and quick reply. The device I use is a Samsung Galaxy 9+, the same as I've successfully used all week for GO and previously for many thousands of games with MLB Major League Manager 2017 and 2018. My phone had GO loaded, but I wasn't playing a game, my phone was on. When I checked my phone to return to the series I was running, I received an odd message that merely stated that the database was being downloaded without saying what app was downloading. I then left my phone alone for about forty-five minutes, but still on with access to the internet. I wasn't running any other app save my home app and the normal system apps. My phone has 256 GB of ram storage plus a micro-sd card with another 256 GB of storage and there is over 156 GB of free memory in the phone's storage plus 86 GB of room on my micro-sd card. It's a very powerful phone. Hopefully that info helps. If there is anything I can do to help I'm willing to help in any way I can. Thanks again for your response.

Can I just confirm what you mean here? Are you saying that you opened up the Go app and then saw the message, or did this message just appear on your homescreen?
