Missing Persons Report

Wondering if I should notify authorities, as I just finished season one of a random debut and Paul Molitor is nowhere to be found. I'm not sure what to do. It's been so long since this happened, I didn't even think it was possible.

Another odd thing during the first season was Mike Trout(26) failing to lead the AL in WAR. In fact, he didn't even finish in the top 3. He got off to a horrible start and really didn't start heating up till July. Figure he will redeem himself in 83.

First time ever since way back when that I'm allowing guys from pre 1901 to participate. Nothing too outrageous happened during the 1st season, so no complaints. George Stivetts did lead the NL in strikeouts and took home Cy Young honors, but his stats were believable.

Jon Matlack took home triple crown honors in the AL.

Started this league in 1982 and I think I will let it import modifiers yearly till I get to 1985. I will then cycle backwards back to 82 and then forward to 85 again. This should keep things fresh.

The AL is made up of teams from the International League and the NL is full of teams from the Pacific Coast League. 10 teams in both leagues, no divisions. Right now only the top team in each league makes the post season. Part of me wants to add a wild card to the mix, just for excitement, but during the 1st season only the top two teams in each league were in the race. Races went down to the final weekend. Would have been a lot less exciting if all they were playing for was home field advantage. So, no wild cards for now.

David I'm a little confused. If you did random Debut for all players, Why would you expect Molitor to be in the league. Please excuse my ignorance if I misinterpreted your original post. Since I have only ever played Historical games, I am hoping I can help you here.

Pirates, no help needed. It was a silly observation based on the fact that a lot of us have noticed that Paul Molitor is a guy that seems to show up all the time as part of random debut's inaugural drafts. Pete Rose and Reggie Smith are guys I always seem to get as well.

David,
I never really paid attention to that. But now that you told me, I will keep a close eye out for that.

Thank You....
