Question about "Run Computer Manager"

I have a league where I don't want the AI to sign or release players. Managing the lineups and pitching rotations are fine.

I've set all teams to not allow AI Roster Changes.

But, every so often I need the teams to adjust their lineups, etc. So I Run Computer Manager on All Teams.

Except it does nothing. Nothing changes. Even obvious scenarios where a position is empty, or there is a rotation spot missing.

Now, if I go in team by team to the Transactions tab and "Ask AI to set up complete team, lineup, etc." it does as asked.

So why doesn't it do it with the universal function? Is this a bug?

yeah i think the individual team setting to disable the AI will override the global run computer manager command.. It sucks I was in a similar situation years ago where I was running a college league and wanted that same setup. To be honest the fact that I had to do it manually made me give up on the project.

This will be an issue for me moving forward. I think OOTP needs to have more flexibility with humans v. AI.

As my universe gets more complex, I'm thinking I'm going to need to create multiple human mangers and set them as GM of each team. Then I can set each team's options for what to reserve for the human GM and what to let the AI do.

A bit of a pain, but the only way I can think of to be in control in the way I want to.

Eventually it won't matter as much and I'll let the AI take over, but until my universe gets to that point, it's a challenge to figure out how to handle.
