Not Enough Players On Playoff Roster

Never seen this before (as this is year 23 for the league I am playing) and could not find a similar issue when looking around.

I have an AI run team that has made the playoffs but only seem to have six eligible players on the playoff roster. This does not make any sense since the team would have a minimum of 25 eligible players based on the league rules.

Looking at the team's roster, it would seem that the problem is that most of the playoff eligible players are no longer on the 40 man roster which should not be possible since if you are on the 25 man roster, you are automatically suppose to be on the 40 man roster. The game will not let me make any modifications to the 40 man roster to make them eligible again. In fact, I am not even allowed to view that roster (just the playoff roster, the active 25 man roster and a reserves roster.

Everything is at a halt since the game will not proceed until this is fixed. Any ideas?

As a last resort, you can go to settings league settings rules and disable Post Season Roster Rules.
