Sim Poll

Okay for an Online League Answer this for me.

Please vote and voice an opinion.

Basically I don't see why more leagues don't sim faster. I know it interupts with injuries, but I think simming faster would keep the league going and keep things new because things change faster.

I voted for option two because slower sims are better, more control over your team, and I don't understand option one.

You consider two months per season fast? Those chaps in leagues that go a month per sim might nod off.

Well a full year in 2 months, offseason/season/playoffs so 6 years in a year.

Actually, I don't understand why more leagues don't sim less than 3X/week. More than anything else, commishes appear to want "active owners." Not everybody has the time to be as active as a league would like. Simming 3X/week, it is very difficult to keep up the pace of studying your team, submitting your rosters, doing your research and writing articles for the league website, and at the same time having a life outside of your OOTP league.

I think that if more leagues would sim 2X/week, it would be easier for owners to be "active."

Just my meaningless 2 francs. I'm sure a lot of people are very happy with 3X/week sims. Oh well.

management

I think ten games per sim is a good span because it theoretically goes through your pitching rotation twice.

If an owner wants to, he could just send in two exports a week, and let his team ride through the other one. Online OOTP teams benefit from hands-on management, but you can have a winning team without it.

hmmm....

The 3-4 seasons per year system, about a season every 3 months, is about as slow as you would ever want...

Of course, a season a month, ala NABL, also works fine...

I like a little variety but mostly slow sims

In the MBLS we have a true calendar mode, one day per sim, and I really do enjoy it, seeing each game and playing my home games

I would never join a league thast would be over in two months, too much to handle

I agree with Satchel I think 10 days per sim is pretty good, but with that scenerio I would want a league with 2X a week sims so it wouldn't be over too quickly

I agree 100%. In 3X/week leagues I feel like all I am doing is giving my team a quick glance and getting my exports in. 2X/week allows to look through the entire league instead of just my team.

Of course if I was one of those lucky people who didn't have a real job I may feel differently...wait..umm nevermind.
