I am managing the Phillies in what was a difficult season for them. They had traded away veteran mainstays like Granny Hamner and Curt Simmons and younger guys like Don Cardwell and Jack Sanford. Their young guys like Johnny Callison and Tony Gonzalez and Tony Taylor we’re not quite ready for prime time. Deep in the minors was Dick Allen. In this replay, I am essentially, AI willing, reversing the worst trades and promoting prospects like Chris Short and Tony Curry. And Bob Uecker, who just hit a HR in his first MLB AB.
