Logos question
I'm incredibly blown away by some of the logo work done by you guys.
I play with Corel 9 and Paint Shop 5 and feel reasonably comfortable to start creating my own logos. I'm curious as to how many of you work from existing logos, use clip art, or create from scratch - and of course, how much of it is a mixture of all three. Also, what are some good sites to find the raw art sources. I have a bunch of the logo collections downloaded, so I cannibalize those as best I can, but I want to also have some unique stuff for my league as well. GB

I use Paint Shop 6 or 7, and get pieces from many sources. I had Corel 5 and use alot of the clip art from that, also the last (cancelled version) of FPSFB had a good uniform maker and it included about 10 logos, and of course just searching the web and capturing images is good. Below is a sample of some I have done.
1. logo from FPS football 2. Corel clipart 3. from 3 sperate Corel art clipart, cut pasted and rotated 4. caputered from a website, I think a UK web site on deer 5. from a scanned label of Gin bottle

i find that captured pictures are good and all, your own drawing/design will a lot more interesting and unique even if it's not as good as the ones already on the net. just my 2-cent

Okay, my avatar is my team's new logo.
This gets pretty addictive, doesn't it? JL
