Well that was fun. I woke up to see that I had about fifteen of the new team missions completed and awaiting submission. Of course that started me on a buying frenzy to fill in the other missions. Let’s see how these shake up people’s rosters.

yeah, I was just complaining about all the garbage packs I've opened from tourneys this year....but all those bronzes & irons definitely came in handy last night. Finished all of the new missions on launch night for the first time ever.

On offense, Bagwell, Kuenn, Kruk and Montero made my roster. Pitching wise Smoky Joe & Roberts are in the rotation, while Chapman, McDowell & Foulke made the pen.

Overall...some pretty substantial upgrades!

I recently started snatching up all of the bronze non-lives I was missing, in anticipation for some challenges like this, since prices spiked with the lower FOTF missions last year. I was hoping it would net me some packs in the near future, so it was nice as a FTP player to wake up to some playables.

I had a lot of fun clicking those complete buttons for sure. I ended up finishing all the new missions with only about a 20k investment. Revamped my entire rotation and finally got a legit 1B to replace Nomar who was showing signs of age at diamond! Bagwell with an .883 OPS through 16 games so pretty stoked. Now if I can just get a friggin catcher to replace the Campanella live mission reward....Montero is a solid strong side platoon guy with him so far even with his low overall.

I have been hanging on to all my historical duplicates and I think I've made like 100k so far. Pretty nuts when you're selling off irons for 500-600 a pop in some cases! Hang on to those dupes until they get into a mission!
