Vanishing players

Playing OOTP 22 I have had several players just disappear. JD Davis, Hoskins, Rodon and Freeland. I know I didn't delete them and they are not in the FA list. Any ideas?

Have you tried using the search function to find them?

Did you export the league roster to a text file, open the text file with Notepad and do a search for those names?

I have had this happen a couple of times. The players ended up on another team. You will have to do a player search. Good thing you remember the names.

Do you have any of the international tournaments turned on? Players can vanish for a spell to participate in those.
