Amazing that so many details stay visible.
Is this really 60x60? You need some space around to have the jersey numbers visible.

Officially you need 60x60 icons with just 30x30 content, but that depends on the image and if you want to see all possible jersey number positions or not (e.g. up right corner).
Really love the real type kind of approach!

KNow what would be really awesome, if FHM took that player mesh they use for the pictures, posed it in a hockey action stance, and then turned it into an icon png to use in the engine. We'd be able to see our custom jerseys in their full (yet tiny) glory
