League corrupted because of storylines?

A league I've played with for almost 200 years had imploded. When trying to boot it back up, there's an error screen that says.

"An error has occurred while loading the database!
Could not load storyline file"

Please help!!

I do not have a backup, although I have tried those steps around 2-3 times.
