Assitant doing something set to player

I have Roster moves (promotions/demotions) set to myself, not the assistant.

However, the assistant will sometimes send down a player to send up a different player.

The most recent time resulted in one of my top prospects being claimed on waivers. I edited the profile to "undo" this, but ultimately, I don't think the AI should be promoting/demoting players when that option is set to the GM (me), correct?

Had you used the AI Setup Organization option at any point? The AI can demote players when that's used.

No, I don't believe I've selected that before.

I have used Lineups/AI Set Lineups in the past.

In this particular case, I'm pretty sure it just happened and wasn't the effect of me clicking or selecting anything.

It shouldn't be doing that spontaneously. Could you upload that save and I'll try to see what happened?

It happened again. For some reason the assistant promoted a player and I simply was continuing to sim to the next day.
There was another player would they could have sent down and avoid waivers, instead they sent down a player who was claimed.

side note: I've long since had a bug where my messages from the previous day (real day) disappear when I load the game the next time I play. But you can see the player in question via the transaction log.

You have transactions set to Assistant. Try switching that back to them being handled by you and see if you still see this happening.

I thought transactions was just signing/releasing players while roster moves was for promoting/demoting?

I will give it a try although in the cases that I can recall, no one was signed that would have resulted in a need for a demotion due to roster size. They usually happened just simming between days/games.
