Clicks on "return to game" misinterpreted

In my historical game, whenever I consult a player's profile, I have to click "return to game" to get back to the game. But that green button sits on top of buttons behind it, and unless I click in just the right pixel in the "to", the game reads it as a click on the menus behind it. This happens with other green buttons too, but mostly the "Return to Game" button.

Also: could you PLEASE give us an ESC hotkey for "return to game"? This game hurts my hands with all the clicking.

What resolution are you playing in? And are you in windowed or full-screen mode? I'd suggest trying some different resolutions as it sound like the one you're using is causing some problems.

Also, if you're on a Mac, this might help.

I'm on a Windows 10 PC, and changing resolutions did fix it. I was in 1280 x 800 or thereabouts. At 1600 x 900 the buttons no longer overlap and things work fine. I usually run my PC at a lower resolution, as my eyes dislike small icons, but 1600 x 900 is working okay. Thanks.
