Small Promotion/Demotion Game

I’m embarrassed to ask because I’m sure the answer is simple but I am struggling to create a very small game of 2 leagues (5 teams per league) where at the end of a year, 1 team is promoted to the higher league and 1 team demoted to the lower league.

I’ve tried using both the custom game creator and quick game ‘promotion’ template but still can’t reach my goal. Any guidance appreciated.

what exactly is the problem? Side edit: a 5 team league is horrible on scheduling you might want to consider making it a 6 team league.

Thanks for the guidance The problem I have is after creating two separate leagues in a game the ‘promotion/demotion’ options don’t appear in the settings for me to initiate this.

Make sure both leagues are set as major leagues. Then go to the top league and go to league settings. Then the options tab. It's right near the top of Options called Team Promotion and Demotion Settings. Set the top league to demote teams to the second league. Then do the same steps again for the second league but for that one set it to promote teams to the top league. Feel free to ask more questions there aren't a lot of pro/rel guys on here but I'm one of them. Been running my 80 team 3 league (with full minors) pro/rel universe for 90 years now.
