College Feeder Advice

I'd like to feed my fictional league only with college players (no HS or JUCO) using customized college conferences. I love the settings introduced last year that give you flexibility regarding the HS/college draft ratio, but for this game I'd like to create actual teams to follow within the game universe, etc.

The problem I'm having is that the draft classes always suck, even when I exceed the recommended number of teams for fictional feeder leagues. Given that I like to play rebuilds, this tends to screw up my save. Is there a simple fix I'm overlooking or an easy way to make the teams better using settings (as opposed to literally creating/inserting/importing better players)?

Sorry to say draft classes always suck in real baseball. Lots and lots of discussions about that in this forum.

Have you tried modifying the Player Creation Editors in the Major League and then in the Feeder league?

Not sure how the editing of the majors affects the feeders, but you could play around with those and run some simulation years off and see if the talent pool has improved.

I'm not sure why but I have never had an issue with feeder leagues. I get a good assortment of talent and things flow smooth for me. Never got the "never good talent" issues others seem to have. Also it looks like they have done a little updating under the hood for the feeder leagues as the options are a little different. Adding in my 304 team NCAA Div 1 feeder league last night and so far looks nice.
