"Team cannot be found"

One of the teams I started this morning (hrbaker, Gettysburg Bullets) ...

I opened all the packs, cam back to it later, and now says "team cannot be found".

I rebooted - restarted game - same thing.

The other two teams I started are working fine so far.

Are you sure you didn't start this on the beta, before the official release?

If so, that team would have been deleted when we switched over.

If not, you'll want to open a support ticket (can just email support@ootpdevelopments.com) so the support guys can check things out.

I created my team earlier, opened all my packs, set up my team colors and logo.

Now that Entry Pool is my league, it pumps out ERROR: COULD NOT FIND TEAM!

If this happens, try deleting the entire .pt league file for that league from your saved_games folder and then reload the save.

Thanks for the quick reply. Unfortunately this did not work for me. I did submit a support ticket.

We're looking into this more, but it's also possible this may be happening while the entry pool your teams is being placed in is being created.

If you give it a little bit and try again, it might work once the servers generate the pool.

Usually when you first create your PT team you would have a .pt folder created that has "start" at the beginning of it's folder name. That is what the game uses during the creation of your team and the opening of the start packs. However if you're already past that and are trying to log into an Entry Pool league team we don't have those setup yet to log into. That may be why the game can't find the team due to it not having generated the folders you need to sign in with.

renamed the "Start_HRBaker.pt" file and tried again. No luck.

Just read previous post - will wait and see what happens.

FYI - it counted down to zero, then got stuck on "simulating". I logged off and logged back in, got "cannot find team" message again and it's counting down again.

You can pass the time by doing Perfect Draft, which is working for my team despite the issues we're all describing.

I'm having the same issue:

Downloaded game after 9a EDT
Logged into PT after 9a EDT
Created my team after 9a EDT
Tried logging out/in
Tried deleting everything with .pt

Same results.

There's a problem with some teams it appears. This should be resolved by 2pm when the regular Entry Pool leagues begin. Sorry for the issues.
