111 Players on the Waiver Wire
In a newly formed fictional league (players from the Standard Game's European leagues but a much different configuration of leagues), the AI managers have all started out by waiving and DFA'ing bunches of players (an average of seven to eight per team).
I can understand the desire to rearrange rosters. What I don't understand is why the AI thinks that waiver and DFA is needed. Every player in the game has three option years available, and none of the minor leagues has roster limits on. (I leave those off until shortly before Opening Day, since that seems to make cogitation easier for the AI.) Can anybody figure out what's going on? |
