Ok, so I hate current baseball. I always reset stats to like 2004. no shifts. no RP starting the damn game. learn how to bunt. and maybe take a damn base like you are mickey rivers.

So, in prior versions, I would just reset the stats to 2004 and go. but, I can't get it to work. I change the mods, sim, I can't get SB's above 0.7. I want them back at 0.12,

any idea why?

You are in Commissioner mode correct and you've turned off league evolution?

If you hate those kids so much, send them to a better home...I'd never say better like...before my kids...but...it's on you

i am in commish mode. I did not turn off league evolution, but it's occurring when I sim my first season. All of the other changes I am making to default stats seem to be working, except I can't get the SB volume to increase.

i'm an 70s/80's kinda guy In the ers of George brett, he was my hero growing up. That is my kind of baseball bunts,steals, hit and run.pitchers playing complete games and before using steroids mcgwire,bonds,conseco,sosa those guys ruined baseball for me. I gre up watching the san diego chicken on saturday mornings and then this week in baseball with mel allen...those were the days

I'm confused a bit at the "can't get SB above 0.7, I want them back at 0.12."

0.7 is much higher than 0.12. So I'm not sure what you're referring to there.

As for the modifiers, I'm surprised you can't get them higher. I usually end up with "too many" SB. I often raise them from what OOTP calcs (I think it's too aggressive with suppression - when a player with a .450 OBP and 75/75 stealing/steal ability consistently checks in at 36 SB with a 73% (nearly dead average) success rate, it's too aggressively low for my liking.

The two I always raise are SB attempts some and SB success more so. I can get with leaders with 50-ish SB, but not with 70% success if they are elite in stealing ability since I don't have a league filled with I-Rods behind the plate.

The only other thing I can think of is your general strategy setting for stolen bases (left side of Stats and AI). Just as a test, try Very Often (and it seems to be the style of ball you want your universe to play).

Oh, and check your managers. The strategy setting above should get all managers to give the green light more, but if you have some that are very much against SB, they still will suppress the effect.

Help me understand. There are two SB LTM. Attempts and Success. Which one?

Also 0.12 is less than 0.7. So you can't possibly get SB's above 0.7 if you set them at 0.12.

Man, I miss Mel Allen and This Week in Baseball. Met George Brett once at a 1998 World Series party in San Diego.
