July, August, and September

Does any of your teams play considerably worse in the second half of the week? I don’t know what it is, as good as my May/June’s are, it’s almost as bad in the following 3 months. If I’m playing well, I’m not really adjusting anything, but come July, one week (season) my team can’t hit, another my bullpen can’t get outs.

Anyone else deal with this?

People are working on improving their teams all week.
New cards/missions hit on Thursday night, so you can see a lot of teams get a lot better on Friday morrning.
If other teams improve, and yours doesn't. It can lead to bad times. Even if you improve your team, others can improve more.

Mine tend to alternate good/bad months.
This week my Rats and Scum ended up in the same league and same division..,
Not so glad that it happened but interested in seeing how they beat on each other LOL.
(Rats up 6-4 over Scum after Wednesday's games)

This is correct. Plus Kris Jardine tends to release new missions or cards on Thursday night that can tend to improve teams.

Lots of teams go out to hot starts, then simply HAVE to cool off (return to mean). I've got a team that's been doing that nearly every week in Gold for months!

I have done all the card missions and yes, my team always has a second half of the week slump. Saturday's have been especially dreadful for my team. My 3 weeks in diamond have had this result... Poor start on Monday, play great Tuesday thru Thursday All-Star break... play .500 from there thru Friday... Then comes the Saturday disaster that causes me to just miss the playoffs. That being said, I've had some tough division draws... first week in diamond, I had two Diamond League champions (one multiple champion) in my division. Last week, three Diamond League champions (two were multiple champions) in my division. This week, two Diamond League Champions in my division. I have been over .500 the last two weeks so we're getting better.

This is what I’ve been dealing with for at least a month now. Been stuck in Gold. Every year, I go 20-30 games over .500 early in the season, to only find myself holding on to a playoff spot by the end of the year. The game feels so fragile at times. I’m generally scared to make roster moves due to risk setting off a 5+ game losing streak. This week, I had Winfield struggling, and wanted to replace him with Heilman. I was 46-21 when I made the move, and now I’m 46-28.

What frustrates me the most, is that the ways I lose seem so random. One game I get shut out. The next I blow a 2 run lead in the 9th. The next I give up several runs early, to only fall just short at the end. Rarely am I getting blown out in these games, but how many 1-2 run losses can a team have in a row?
