Favorite Team - Historic League

Hi guys -

Several friends of mine from my core OOTP online league that has been on-going for nearly 10 years, will be setting up a friendly league that will pit each of our favorite alltime MLB teams against each other.

We would like to open it up to some new OOTP friends.

League Format:
- Final structure will be based on the number of GMs that join. So far we have 26 committed teams with GMs.
- No injuries, No Finances, Single Season only, No Player Development, No Morale, Team Chemistry, No Coaches, No Scouting & Visible Actual Ratings
- Regular Season then followed by a Post Season to determine the champion.
- Ideally would like to have 162 game schedule, DH, 1 League, 1 Division with all the teams with a balanced schedule
- No minors, Trading, FA, Waives, INT FA, Scouting Finds

Sim Speed:
Likely 3 sims per week, 1 week at a time, Sat/Sun/Wed

If you are new to online leagues and/or the game you are welcomed to join us. We have an experienced group to help answer any of your questions.

Looking for GMs that love the concept here and aren't in it to just win at all costs but, would love to play as their all-time favorite team that they followed as a kid and/or now and be part of a healthy league community.

We will be using Slack for our league communication.

The Pirates started the season with 2B - 3B - SS of Stennett - Garner - Taveras and ended due to trades with Garner - Foli - Madlock. Which does this team get?

Uh... I wasn't choosing the team. I was asking about the roster.

Hi Brad; Sorry about that, the Pirates were already taken and we are not allowing the same team twice in the league. The historic team will be pulled from the OOTP game and I haven't done that yet to confirm their roster.

We have reached the final regular season sim today. Some surprises for sure! We will keep you posted on who made the playoffs (top 16).

They beat the 82 Milwaukee Brewers 4-2 in the finals!

That was a lot of fun!
