Scouting question

I'm trying to get the most accurate possible ratings for my own use. I selected commisioner mode.. Is there anything else I need to do? I want something more accurate than head scout and OSA ratings.

Also, when I choose Live Start date.. does that only update MLB player ratings or also MILB and foreign league player ratings?

If you turn scouting off, you will always have perfectly accurate and updated ratings.

keep in mind that the 1-100 scale in ootp is very different than MLB the show.

Ya, I think the power seems to be way down in the show while using ootp numbers? Do you have any suggestions?

I’ve always felt the show’s rating were not evenly dispersed.

Ootp is like this,1-20 bad; 21-40 below average; 40-60 average; 60-80 good; 80-100 elite.

The show is like this, 1-50 bad; 50-60 below average; 60-70 average; 70-85 good; 85-100 elite.

I'm not sure about that. You see a lot of power hittersin the show with 71 and 84 in that range for power. 68-70 for speed seems to be above average also.
