So close...
I was first until the last two games series against the Cards but I lost both of them
![]() Too bad that I will lose Singleton, Torrez, fairly and Davis for almost nothing in 1975...

I'm assuming you're using RL transactions then.
As an Expos lover, I understand how much this hurts so I won't make some wisecrack about what a great addition Dave McNally will be to your rotation next year. But there's always hope. I see Bucky "F-------" Dent led the AL with a .343 BA so clearly ANYTHING is possible in OOTP. |

Yep... real transactions, lineup and injuries so It's time for the worst transaction in the history of my team.

Also for some obscure reason Clay Kirby won the Cy Young in the National League that year...

I'm a better manager than Gene Mauch... no seriously one difference is the bench players (the AI doesn't know who was really on the bench if the player didn't play in real life so he picks the best available from the reserve, but to counter that I put the september recall on the injury list until their first game in real life) and, more important, some players did much better even with 1 year recalc (by example Barry Foote ended the season with a .314 average and was over .340 until august).

Some players over performed and the advantage of hindsight makes for a better bench. Are you sure you're not a better manager than Gene Mauch?

I knew that 1975 wouldn't be as fun but not that much
![]() That will be a long season...
