Can we actually watch the HOMERUN DERBY during the all star weekend if we want to watch them slug it out in the various rounds?

Is there any hope that watching the homerun derby can be added in a update or is it gonna have to wait til next year? Full disclosure The latter answer will make me shed a fear tears

Even better would be if we could play the home run derby. Just press any key to swing the bat, and have the option to control any player we want.

That's how it works now. You can pick the participants, and then hit space to swing.

I've definitely got plans to come back and spend a little more time on the derby itself. I can't guarantee what features will be in or not, but there will certainly be some updates to it in a later patch.

Thanks Matt, but can you maybe guarantee a "watch it" feature if there is, say, a cool crisp $5 bucks in it for you???? $10??

Count me as someone who would enjoy watching this play out as a spectator but finds the current method not terribly enjoyable. (Don't get me wrong- I can see where for others this might be great fun and I certainly wouldn't advocate taking this option away from them.) After trying it and realizing that it was an unpleasant and frustrating experience for me I have just skipped it since. I haven't been able to figure out how to view the round by round results after I sim past this either- so if anyone can tell me how to do that it would be much appreciated.
