Moving a Player from draft pool into free agency - Historical Game

Is this possible?

Hoping to have international amateur players who weren't a part of the 2000 MLB Draft in the free agent pool, rather than the draft pool.

Cloning would be best bet (ive tried it) and cant find a way to get the cloned player to go to FA rather than draft pool.

There are ratings, injury, tendency and personality discrepancies that you have to manually edit when you use the historical database to import a player. A lot of these guys come in with like 140 across the board on injury ratings alone .

So moving 700+ intl players needing edits in this way becomes problematic. Not to mention the time cost up front of importing 700 historical players.

Probably still time consuming but checking this box in the Editor might change this. i am not sure as i cant recall doing this before but I might this year as i had recent draft weirdness in my main league. But If i do it, it's only with 9 or so players.
