Basketball Free Agent Talk
I myself am a Nets fan.. And with all of the talk about Kidd leaving at the end of the year as a free agen tto join San Antonio I have come up with my own opinion. Tim Duncan is also a free agent, who is to say that the Nets will not resign Kidd, and then make a run at getting Duncan. I am not sure how much money they have but who is to say the Nets have no chance of getting Kidd and Duncan?
Anyone have an opinion about this.... |

No way Duncan is leaving San Antoinio. I would bet my right arm on this. He like the organization, likes the coach, there is no way that he is leaving.

A nets fan from California, thats interesting. I'm sure that Duncan will resign with SA. And so much hype and over speculation of Jason Kidd leaving NJ. He has said over and over that NJ is his number one choice, he is just keeping his options open. Thats the best you can ask for from a free agent as big as he is going to be. Also he has said that he doesn't want to be in NJ if Kenyon Martin and Richard Jefferson doesn't resign. So that is a factor. He knows that Kenyon Martin is just a year or two off from being an allstar and Richard Jefferson a couple of years himself.

Oh and by the way, if worse comes to worse, if the Kidd leaves NJ, the nets can try and sign Gary Payton.

Duncan won't be going anywhere... I think Kidd will also stay put, but it isn't as much of a sure thing as with Duncan.

I think Duncan will be like Malone and Stockton ... a one team player.
Too bad there aren't more of those in sports anymore. |

Like Dwolfson, I am almost positive that he is not a free agent.
