Exclamation Freeze Playoff Rules

Was playing a historical game that started before 1966,and have added a new division of NHL with 6 teams before the 1966 extension.

However, when the 1966 extension occurs, the game crashed a few days later, probably due to incompatible playoff rules.

So how to freeze the playoff rules??

That doesn't sound like the crash was playoff-related if it occurred just after the July 1 expansion. The playoffs, assuming they were still on the 4-team option, wouldn't have affected anything until they actually started, and that playoff system should still work fine with an expanded league, regardless of the structure - it would just take the top 4 teams. Try it again after updating the game to 7.2.106 and see if it still crashes.
