Historical league with Indy and International league
So I am trying a new league, where I will take over an expansion MLB team in 2001. I want to have a couple US Indy leagues (for guys who don’t make it in affiliated ball) and a foreign league or 2 (***, possible KBO). Is there an easy way to do this?
I started the league in 1997 and am just simming up to that offseason before 2001. I’m in 1999 right now, and I’ve created 2 Indy leagues and the *** just using the fictional league wizard. For the Indy leagues - the finances were messed up (I think I’ve fixed them) and the roster construction is weird (like 40% Japanese players). For *** - I had it labeled as a “major league” and trades enabled with other Major Leagues. So MLB stars were being traded over to Japan. I’ve corrected that. Any tips to do this better? Or easier? |

So update. I went into the Japanese league, and check the box that says do not allow FA to leave. Then went and retired all the fictional Japanese players in the independent leagues, simulated a week, and the independent league teams signed American and Latin players in their place.
